Hi everyone! Sorry if we react slowly this week, that’s because our brains are all slowed down digesting all of the chocolate! Which long term readers will know means we are in Barcelona at our yearly summit all week.
Today Monday 12 we will have mostly an internal organizational day to figure out how to do things with our new Executive Director Silona.
Tomorrow Monday 13 we will have the traditional presentations about how each project has been doing the past year. Those will be live-streamed on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/live/OQzlSWMbX8I starting around 14:00 CEST, and we will take some questions from the community in the MetaBrainz room in Matrix/Discord after each presentation!
More generally, we have a list of topics we are planning to discuss on our Summit wiki page. If you feel there’s some other topic that we really should be discussing, please bring it up in our chat and we’ll see if we can fit it!
We will update this post with more info about the rest of the week as we figure things out – please forgive us for any organizational mishaps and slowness since we are still working to figure out the changes we need to the summit format for this year after the loss of Rob, who was always the main organizer of the event. And, of course, because of all the chocolate we are trying to digest…
