New NGS Virtual Machine available

The promised Virtual Machine for MusicBrainz Next Generation Schema Release Candidate 1+ is now available for download. This virtual machine is setup as a slave and can pull replication data from the test server by running the admin/replication/LoadReplicationChanges from the musicbrainz-server codebase about 10 minutes after every hour.

  1. Hello, I tried importing the VM into VirtualBox, and got the following error

    xml::XmlError::XmlError(xmlError*)

    Result Code:
    VBOX_E_FILE_ERROR (0x80BB0004)
    Component:
    Appliance
    Interface:
    IAppliance {7b148032-4124-4f46-b56a-b48ac1273f5a}

    First I had to rename the file from .ova to .ovf
    I am running ubuntu 64 bit, is that supported?

  2. Same problems here, but under windows 7 64bit… Tried downloading the image twice, but both times it has failed! Is the image corrupt? And does anyone check this?
