It took me a while to figure out that the last one was a CD in a cover, which I guess makes it suitable to the project as-is. However, will the CAA also be used for, say, book covers for BB? Picking #3 will “limit” scope of the project somewhat.
for 1 & 2, it isn’t clear to me what it represents.
for 3, it’s meaningful, and I could deal with it being too specific as far as it represents well the cover idea.
Not sure if it’s still open for comments, but I prefer 3. I sympathize with the argument that a disc may be perceived as limiting the data, but I honestly don’t know what the squares in 1 & 2 are intended to represent. LP sleeves? But that would be another perceived limitation.

I think an icon that represents an image would better rather than just a plain cover as is the case here
