We spent some quality time with the servers today and updated them with the latest release. After some minor tweaking things appear to be behaving normally now. I noticed that the XML results now contain comments <!– … –>. Are these temporary? Could save same bandwidth to throw them out.
No, they are not — the main site uses these numbers to properly paginate the results.
These comments won’t make much of a difference — the big difference is when I removed the indentation from the RDF web service. That should save us 4% – 8% of our overall bandwidth.
